Pretty in pastels

Spring. With the temperature being mostly around -10°C (feels as: -438774832°C) for the past couple of days and battling this harsh weather dressed in thousand layers, wearing thermal underwear and 3 pairs of socks, I cannot wait for the season of singing hummingbirds and blossoming flowers to arrive.

Another good thing about spring this year: pastels. Pastel tones where the most influential colors that graced the Spring/Summer 2012 runways of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg and Jonathan Saunders. Personally, I am obsessed with Phillip Lim’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection where the Cambodian-American fashion designer mixed the candy hues with clean and elegant lines.

Oh how I cannot wait to dress head to toe in tones of mint, lemony yellow and sorbet pink and look like an easter egg …and also eat easter eggs, especially  the Butterfinger ones.
